Michael Lienhard joined Randle Communications in February 2020. Throughout his time at the firm, he has worked closely to support the firm’s public affairs and ballot initiatives practices that have led to multiple victories in the legislature and at the ballot box.
In his current role as an Account Manager, he helps lead strategy development and operations across multiple accounts. Lienhard’s expertise in coalition development, stakeholder mapping, and execution of public affairs strategies has made him a valuable member of the team. Some of the clients he has worked with include the California Hospital Association, Californians Allied for Patient Protection, PEACH, Twin Rivers Unified School District, and Dignity Health.
Before joining Randle Communications, Lienhard served as a Regional Representative for Public Lands and Natural Resources for former United States Senator Dean Heller. In that role, he worked with local and county governments, influential stakeholders, and elected officials to build coalitions that developed creative solutions to legislative issues affecting thousands of constituents in Nevada and across the nation. He was also instrumental in leading advocacy efforts for and implementing Senator Heller’s legislative priorities in northern and rural Nevada. Lienhard has also previously worked for the Charter Schools Association of Nevada and supported numerous political campaigns and ballot measures at the federal, state, and local levels.
Lienhard is proud a two-time graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration and Policy.
Outside the office, he likes to explore new cities and destinations around the world, cheering on the Nevada Wolf Pack, Sacramento Kings, and the San Diego Padres. He also enjoys taking weekend trips to Lake Tahoe and other places throughout the state with his friends and family.
