Lindsey Goodwin joined Randle Communications in 2013, bringing a strong legislative, public affairs and public relations background to the team. As director, Goodwin provides strategic counsel and project management support to clients across a variety of industries, with a specific emphasis in healthcare. Goodwin plays a leading role providing support to John Muir Health, a nationally recognized not-for-profit health care organization east of San Francisco, and two statewide trade associations, Californians Allied for Patient Protection and California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. She also oversees strategic public relations and media relations for local health and fitness leader, California Family Fitness.
Goodwin joined Randle after several years’ experience as staff to state and local elected officials and experience in stakeholder engagement and media relations on high-profile public infrastructure projects in the Sacramento region. Her experience includes serving as a project manager for a local public relations firm providing strategic communications for government agencies, legislative aide to a California State Assemblymember, as well as leading community outreach efforts for then City of Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson. In her time spent at the mayor’s office, Goodwin oversaw community outreach efforts including monthly office hours, town hall meetings and facilitating constituent affairs services for Sacramento’s more than 450,000 residents.
Goodwin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science awarded cum laude with distinction from Sonoma State University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Government from Sacramento State University with emphases in California State and Local Government and American Government. As a proud alumna of her alma mater, Goodwin serves on the Alumni Campus Advisory Committee for Sonoma State University. Goodwin is also a member of Metro EDGE, Sacramento’s leading young professionals group.
In her free time, Goodwin enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga and taking weekend trips with her husband to visit Sonoma County.
