For the last quarter century, Jeff Randle has been a business, political and community leader in Sacramento. He came to the Capitol with former Governor Pete Wilson in 1990 and established strong political and business credentials before founding his own firm which has since become the top locally owned public relations firm in the region. In between, Randle has established himself as one of California’s most-effective communications strategists, a visionary entrepreneur and a mentor to dozens of the state’s best communications specialists and political operatives.
In 2010, Randle was named one of the top 50 most influential people in California by Capitol Weekly and by Campaigns and Elections magazine as one of the top 100 political influencers in the state.
From 1991-1998, Randle was the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Wilson, served as the Governor’s key political advisor and credited with organizing the statewide communications and coalition building efforts on behalf of the Governor. Randle also directed the eight statewide communications and coalition building efforts on behalf of the the gubernatorial policy and political initiatives.
Randle is regarded as one of California’s top public affairs experts earning the respect of lawmakers, business leaders and the media. He has worked closely with HP CEO Meg Whitman since 2007 when she was CEO of eBay and served as Senior Advisor to her gubernatorial campaign. Randle was one of the first members of former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s political team. He was a senior member of the team that elected Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 2003 recall election and served in a senior leadership role with the Governor through the re-election in 2006.
For the firm, Randle oversees the strategy and communications activities for all clients. He has crafted statewide award-winning public relations and public affairs campaigns for prominent organizations, including University of Phoenix, California Hospital Association, Golden State Water Company, California Family Fitness, the California Association of REALTORS®, California HealthCare Foundation, and the California Building Industry Association.
From 1998-2001, Randle was Executive Vice President of Stoorza Communications, then California’s largest independent public relations firm; he also served as General Manager of the Sacramento office.
Randle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, Kellie, and their three children Annie, Jake and Jillie Kate. He is deeply involved in a variety of community activities including the performing arts, education and as a member of the Sutter Club. In between, Randle enjoys spending time with his family as well as rooting for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and all UCLA Bruins sports teams.
