Mike Gazda Earns Promotion to Account Manager

September 3, 2015

Sacramento – Randle Communications (Randle), Sacramento’s top-ranked locally-owned public relations firm, today announced that Mike Gazda has earned a promotion to Account Manager. This achievement is a reflection of Gazda’s expertise and dedication to clients as well as Randle’s commitment to recognize and reward employees for teamwork, professionalism, and superior performance.

“Mike is a trusted voice with extensive real-world media experience, and he has delivered exceptional results for our clients,” Randle President and CEO Jeff Randle said. “He plays a leadership role on major accounts and is a dedicated team player. His promotion to Account Manager is a reflection of his mastery of complex water issues and developing successful drought communications strategies for customers served by one of California’s largest state-regulated water providers.”

Gazda joined the Randle Team in 2013, and he leads the day-to-day operations for Golden State Water Company’s statewide community education program. Mike also provides media relations counsel for other Randle clients including Golden 1 Credit Union and Teichert Construction. He works closely with Emmy Award-winning journalist and Randle Senior Vice President Kevin Riggs to provide the firm’s proprietary media training program to clients.

Before joining Randle, Gazda worked in Major League Baseball, serving as the Media Relations Director for the Washington Nationals and Media Relations Manager for the Miami Marlins. Gazda is well-known to Sacramento media, having played an instrumental role in launching the Sacramento River Cats and Raley Field with media and community leaders.

Gazda is a Pennsylvania native and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earning his degree in journalism.
